i have a Hydroslide 142(not 142cm) and i can control it fine. i weigh about 100 pounds and am 5 ft 1in. My brother is 160 pounds and 5 ft 8 in. he cant even get up. is he just terrible or is that board a bad size for him. yes i know the board sux but im new at this. Confused

I'm 5' 8", same weight, and I ride 139. He's probably just getting his technique wrong. Search the forum, plenty of tips on how to get your ass out of the water

yeah that board is plenty for him hes just doing something wrong... oh wait... how long is it? its not a 142cm? cuz im the same weight as you but 5'6'' and i can get up so easily but i cant even get up on skis but my board is a hydroslide matrix 142cm

hmm... it might be a little small for him but if he gets the tecnique right he should be able to get up fine

he will defnitley be able to get up but learining on a bigger board is easier just practice
