I was wondering if anyone is riding or has ever ridden the Andrew Adkison pro model board by CWB. Right now Im riding the CWB Prodigy 135 and its great but Im considering moving up to a bigger sized board and the Transcend has really taken my interest. Feel free to let me know how ya'll really feel about this board. Razz

The Transcend is incredibly slow on the water. It requires longer line lengths & higher speeds and a nice long cut at the wake. The board has a huge pop but is very controlled. It's not for everyone but there are a ton of people who love the board. It takes a little extra energy to ride. I would suggest a demo or a place that you can trade for an Absolute (my preference) if you need to.

I own and ride the transcend 138.. yes it is a little slower on the water when you compare it to say the parks, but the cut is waay less agressive and everything is so much more controlled. The massive rocker boots you adn you get plenty of air no matter what your doing.. the board is also nice and wide and all landings are soft and stick to the water.. never had a problem. It is a heavier board than some (ie. LF) but everything you do with it is very solid.. it never throws anything unpredictable at you. I do tend to ride a little faster then most.. but speed dosent make much difference to how i ride i wouldnt think.

Also because of the booting the board gives you and smoothness and solid landings.. i have had a few mates learn flips first on my transcend. One riding the parks could not get his tantrums or scarecrows dialed.. so i lent him my board to try and stuck them both within then hour.. once he had them dialed he went back to his board. Another day out we were riding with a chick who kept doing low backrolls adn slipping out on the landing.. so i lent her my board adn she nailed it in like 5 tries... it really is a top board and i'd thouroghly(?) recommend it. Oh and the graphics are stuff hot too Wink

I ride the transend 138, I really didnt think it was that slow, it took a little getting used to, but my buddy who has about 45 pounds on me had a hard time with the sluggish feel. It has tons of pop that is surprisingly consistant. Pretty soft landings too. Either way I like it but wouldnt recomending it to someone over 170lbs. that may even be pushing it.
