I ahve been wakeboarding for about two years and i was wondering what would be the right board and bindings for me . I am 225 lbs and 6' right now i have a liquidforce search 135 with multi-suction bindings. I was also wondering what are some tips for working on my grabs and edging better.
OK first. Board. you need ATLEAST a 140. I would go with a 142 or 143. It sounds to me like your already jumping the wake. SO i would go with the 142 Substance. (liquidforce) Its gona give you the most strait up pop of almost any board. It also has 2 nice molded fins on each side of the board. These are nice if you like to ride loose. All you have to do is take your center fins out and it will feel loose but still track. Another board to look at is A CWB absolute. Its almost the exact same as the substance. A little more expensive but a little better made (in my opinion) The last board would be the CWB marius. The marius is BIG. So you could ride a 140. Its gona have THE MOST POP! It has a huge rocker. So jumps and landinds are no problem. The only down side to this is its harder to spin. So check these out at your local store. The boards will help your edging problem. BUT! Try taking the boat speed down to like 14 and turning your board sidways and then edging from one side to the other while the board is sidways _________________ Boat: Pro star 195 (with sacks)
