What would be a good beginner's board? I am 6'4" 215lbs. Some of my friends have recommended a Liquid Force Search (143) or a Hyperlite Offshore (142). Any advice would be appreciated!

i too have just started to board and i am a bit heavier than u and i went with the liquid force 143 xxl series. it is a little wider so it will get my big butt out of the water. i love the board so i would suggest the liquid force.
