These afternoon thinderstorms are driving me nuts. They keep me from going out on the water and doing my water sports. EVERYDAY there is thunder and a shower. Today's storm is particularly veeeeeery long and i doubt i can go out to the lake today. Argh. I love Florida, but this gets annoying.

At least i can still do water sports in the winter in Florida. Laughing

Yeah, the water is freakishly warm too! While the top of the water is warm, the water where my feet are is cold.

Uh, jflo452, yes, people do say that kind of stuff in reference to wakeboarding in orlando. Some people know what it is, but most of the time they compare it to kneeboarding or the like. The thunderstorms are rediculous this summer. Used to last an hour or two at most, now they come in and ruin most of the afternoon.

haha.... on the downside of things we lost 2 cell phones today due to rain... weird thing is that we were very carefull about keeping em try but i think the humidity got to mine cause the screen is not coming on and my friends... well its def dead...ill try to use my phone isurance for mine since it was never submerged or anything so hopefully Ill be covered....

And take it easy on the kid... He doesn't mean it as a winny thing. He was just sharing his frustration. We can't really relate to people who can't ride all day cause thats what were use to.. ...

life in florida sounds pretty shi*ty! why the heck would anyone even want to live there. sun, hot tepmperatures, warm lakes, wakeboarding all year long, sun tans, girls in bikinis, spring break, huge wakeboard scene....are a few reasons why i would never move there!

man it sounds like hell on earth!

i'm sure glad i live in canada with 3 months of hot weather, 3 months of moderate whether and 6 months of winter! cold lakes, fully clothed girls.

I have no complaints about NorCal weather. Its like 95 deg. in the afternoon (outside) where I ride, and the water is like 70 so its just right, and since I ride in the morning the weather is usually perfect. Yup no complaints here, oh yeah I usually ride all winter long too.
