I just recently moved into a new house on a lake. I've been researching boats on this site for a few weeks. After reading through many threads I decided to go with a 205 MC, preferably a V drive. I've been looking through boat trader and a few other places and found this add...
1999 MASTERCRAFT MARISTAR/ PROSTAR 205V on a competition hull having 214 one-owner hours, equipped with a clean 330HP LTR engine upgrade, Mastercraft trailer, bimini top, Mastercraft cover, AM/FM stereo, CD player and a "flush-pro" that makes a crank on the hose very easy and convenient. Bought new in August, 2000, this boat is a V-drive but handles much like a direct drive with its competition hull versus recreational hulls on true Maristars. Boat has had excellent maintenance and a lot of TLC, always garaged and never in salt water. Rubrail has a cut the size of a fingernail and the sunpad had a fingernail size tear located between the sunpad and the backrest. This small tear was repaired and is only visible when the sunpad is raised. Keel line is in excellent shape with only a couple of scratches if you stare hard enough to find them. Pictures do not do this boat justice!
They are asking 25,000
The owner has not yet emailed me pictures, but from just the add does it seem like a good deal.
I don't plan on any skiing, just wakeboarding and maybe some tubbing for the girls.
Thanks for any help you can give me |
