depends how ya make your pylon? If ya put a ball on the top you do it jus tlike a normal pylon, if you use eye hooks then use those things like these use for rockclimbing, except the good ones from a hardware store. Can't remember the name of them. |

Use an Eyebolt near the top of the pylon then either a snap link or
a quick link from the rope loop to the pylon.
all from your local hardware store. |

I made one 2 years ago and have not had a problem with it at all. You can buy a pullie with out the outer housing and put a bolt through it works like a charm and wont chaf your rope. _________________ "The best we can hope for concerning the people at large is that they be properly armed."

If you've got a hollow pipe, you can weld in a trailer hitch ball. That's what I did for my DIY pylon and it works and looks great! Someday I'll get my act together and put some pictures of it to show you guys. |

maybe drill a hole through the base of the trailer hitch and drill a hole in your pylon and pin it together.
Just a thought, but it's not as good as welding, obviously. |

Depends on what pipe youre using, but if it's threaded and you can put a pipe cap on it, then you can drill through the pipe cap and secure the trailer hitch with a nut. _________________ Long Island, NY & Canada Lake, NY (addirondacks)

YES all u have to do is cut a chunk of wood to fit into the pipe then drill a hole into the wood insert the ball put on the bolt. On the top of the pole drill two holes then put the wood/ball into the top and put two screws threw the holes and into the wood it woorks great and i will post some picts today or tommarow. |
