|
|
Hey all! I have searched through alot of posts and seen pros and cons about this board. The only ones that worried me were the ones that said that they board was going to fall all apart fast.
Is this board going to stay together for a year or two? I want a super cheap entry level skate with a foam top. One of the local shops near me has the Scape 112 for $100+ tax. Thats about what im wanting to spend as well.
Is 112 a good size for me? I am 5'10" 160lbs.
Thanks for any info! _________________ Visit www.nashvillewakeboarder.com for riders in the Nashville, Tn area! |

ya, it'll hold up, no problem. I have a scape that's 3 years old, and it's fine.
that size should be ok too. |

| I use to ride a scape.. i really don't like the skate though. Sure it will hold up and be good for a beginner but there are other skates that are good for beginners that you can still progress on. I love my K39. |

| Check out Sattelyte, you'll be paying a little more (I think their flat decks run about 150$, but am not sure), but their decks should last for a long time, and they are supposedly really solid decks. Or you can try and find a decent deal on a Kampus K39, or maybe get a Cassette Flat over at http://www.boardstop.com I've ridden the Scape, I don't really like it. My Kampus K-Series rides nicer IMO. |

The scape is the worst skate I've ever ridden. _________________ ...island style... |

| Sure the scape is good for getting the basics of wakeskating down.. but why not spend that money on something you can progress on for a long time too? You can still learn the basics on a lot of skates that you can get very advanced on. |
