What is a good rope length for learning to get up? Does it make a difference.. and what is the average rope length for wakeboarding in general?

it all depends on your wake, riding ability and personal preference. if you have a really clean wake all the way back maybe 70-75ft. i ride behind a jet-ski so i have to ride with a 55ft line before the wake gets too washy. but for example, some of the pro's ride at 80-85ft and thats what they like.

Went out today, was using a 70 foot rope and worked fine Cool
