Well, it finally happened. My wife who has never done any watersports and never had the desire to got on a wakeboard.
She got up on the 3rd try(briefly) the 1st day out. The next time out, she was riding!!! Lastnight she was edging abit and getting outside the wake. She even rode doubles with a very brave friend, and that gave her a lot of confidence.
Everytime she gets up she is all smiles. We take some video of her and she ends up watching it on the way home and shows it to her mother as soon as she can. She's as excited as a little kid, it's pretty cool.
I don't think she would have done it without the help of some very good friends that we met here at WB.COM

That's sweet. My mom got on a wakeboard for the first time ever a few weeks ago and loved it, and now surfs as well. She was the same way, e-mailing the pictures to her mom right when we got home.

| jesus, I tried to get my mom to try it once... and as soon as she jumped in the water with the board on she panicked, then started yelling at me to get her back in the boat. The fact that she was so willing to try it before and such a sissy now made me laugh so i started laughing at her but then she started screaming because i guess she really was freaked out. The ride back in was brutal, she didnt think it was too funny. But i couldnt stop laughing at her |

yea i got my mom to try wakeboarding on my old board she got up and started cutting butter and caught her front edge and fell it was pretty funny she hasnt tried wkbrding again though
