Alright I plan on trying an invert tommorow or in the next couple of days.
From the sounds of it people tend to lean towards the Backroll as a first invert. But to me a Heelside Frontflip seems much more normal/easier than a Heelside Backroll.
Does it take more air or technique to do a Frontflip or something? Does anyone that can do both find the frontflip easier? |

u can do a backroll with practically no air, and you can spot your landing real early which makes it easy. Frontflips, although i cant do em, i know u have to go absolutely huge to do em. Dont be afraid of the backflip motion just throw the trick you will be fine _________________ "My wife waxed my back once....

Alright thanks. So for the Backroll you edge in progressively and edge through the wake. Do you throw your head backwards and look over your front shoulder?
I've read all the threads, but got confused with one guy said something that sounded the complete opposite of another guy. |

HS Frontflip is not easy IMO. Go for the backroll. |

| I was thinking of trying a tantrum but I don't really understand the "tripping" the wake part |

| Some people find tantrums easier, some find backrolls easier. Some people find ts frontrolls easier than tantrums. It just depends on what you're comfortable with. |

| Backs are easier because you can spot your landing. On frontflips, you can't see your landing almost until you hit the water. I think it's about the same for tantrums or backrolls, but thats just me. It does take some getting used tripping part at first thow, so it may be a little harder to learn. |

in my opinion, I find that backrolls are easier, since you have to do little to no work... if you just start the rotation, it will automatically rotate you the rest of the way. _________________

| I'd say 50% of people find the backroll easier, the other 50% find the tantrum easier. Try both, then continue with the one you think you were closest to getting. |
