you can try anything if you really want to, but i know that's not what you wanted to hear..

from the looks of it you've got enough for a backroll yes.

just carve in pretty hard, and let the board follow the path of the wake and kick back towards the water..the KEY is to hold on to the handle and let the tension in the cord spin you, keeping the handle close to your waist.

hope that helps, and good luck

backrolls can be done extremely small. Just cut in and remember the key to a backroll it to be accelerating through the wake. Take a relatively small cut, but cut hard and as you come off the wake do a sort of reverse cartwheel and then figure it out from there. The falls dont hurt

Looking at the first photo I'm wondering, is that a ski rope (poly-e)? If you don't have a wakeboard rope you should definitely look into getting one.

And to answer your question - yes you 'could' do a backroll with that amount of air, but I'd recommend working on your hs jumps a bit more first and then try it.

As far as the airtime goes yes you could, but by the looks of your jump your not ready. Rolls can be done in the flats with no wake but It takes good technique. By the looks of your wake your not gonna get away with just huck and luck, your actually gonna have to have a good progressive edge all the way through the wake unless you are goin for the tantrum which is a straight back flip like on a tramp and is a different cut all together.

Wake_princess007, nice rope Wink
i'm no expert but i'd agree you look like you could use some more work on your w2w's before attempting to land an invert.

Read Worst Injuries post.............then if you still believe you are ready....go for it.
Seriously though, don't rush into inverts. Get some good big grabs down. Most seasoned boarders will tell you that they would rather see a real nice well controlled grab, than a botched invert.

as far as the injuries go i've never actually gotten hurt from learning an invert, just focus more on loading the line and having a good progressive edge. If you do the trick with a slower controlled edge and pop up the falls won't hurt. When you cut as hard as you can and huck it is when you get hurt.
