Ok guys and girls, I'm wondering who out there is running this headunit- I'm looking at an '06 Tige 22v or 22ve, and I believe this is the factory headunit for '05 and '06. Do any of you know for sure that it plays MP3s? The Clarion website says that it has an iPod interface (big whoop), but I'm more interested in mp3 CDs. Also, (above all) how does it sound?

| My buddy just installed one in his x-9. It does sounds great. I can't comment on the mp3 since we usually use the ipod. I will say the ipod interface is garbage. Might as well keep it through the AUX. |

| anyone know if an older clarion wired remote will work with newer clarion head units? I'd like to upgrade the stereo on my boat, but dont want to mess with the remote by the driver. |
