this sucks, what to do

well my borther, friend and i are supposed to ride in the INT tourny in beumont (sp) this weekend. well we tried to reserve 2 rooms the day before yesterday, but EVERY single hotel/motel in the city is booked due to evacuationers from Lousiana. my mom dosnt really want to drive us an hour and a half out there and then an hour and a half back just to do it again the next day (its a 2 event stop). we could camp but again the mom isnt really into that. any ideas?

I drive an hour and a half each way to work. I drive 4.5 hours to wakeboard, but atleast then Ill stay over Wink

Id just drive it, its not that bad. figure a CD and a half each way.

i talked with my mom and we are just goin to drive there and back. yea i wouldnt mind camping or sleeping in the car but i try to limit these experiences with my mom to a minimum. ha

Dude, just make it work... If it means throwing a tent out, then so be it. However, people always cancel their reservations to a hotel room the day of, you can just show up and almost always get a room... If may mean everyone in one room, but its part of it!

hey man im in the same situation you are except its a 4 1/2 hour drive for me! worst comes to worst pitch a tent or sleep in your car, its all good.

Wakerider07 I forgot are you Cole or who? Anyways the comp. was a good time I judged and rode and everyone got along for the most part but I'm definately taking the last stop more serious cuz I wanna go to nats.

its crazy how far us guys that have to travel to a lake or river are willing to travel just to get on the water...to think...i used to bitch about it taking 10mins to get to the lake and BE on the water...now it is atleast 45-60mins and then the same off
