|
|
Ive been riding for 2 years now and i can do 3s backrolls scarecrows etc...and i really want to learn raleys, but i never feel like i go big enough to do em. So i figured i would take a sequence of a regular heelside jump for me and let you guys who know what your talking about decide. So here it is, do you think this is big enough to throw a raley? _________________ "My wife waxed my back once....

| Plenty big, just cut at it like a mofo and drift back and up you yank yourself back onto the water on top of your board. Good Luck |

Also is this the proper cut, ive been wanting to try the trick and ive thrown it twice and ended up bailing into a front flip. I just want to make sure i know what to do before i try it because i dont want to get hurt. On the heelside jump on this video, would this be a good cut for a raley? _________________ "My wife waxed my back once....

| after you've extended the raley you want to pull the handle back to your knees instead of stomach. it looks like you have an ample amount of air and your cut seems to be pretty good. |

| I think you should go for it. This trick doesn't actually take much skill, you just have to cut pretty hard weight even on both feet, and edge all the way through the wake. If you don't edge all the way through your feet won't fly back as fast and you will more than likely not get your feet back under. Also keep your head up and look at the water ahead of the boat, its harder to tell how high you are if you look down at the boat. good luck! |
