After this past weekends outing I've decided that my skills have outgrown my current board, which is an 04 hyperlite Fluid 137 (basically a beginner board), I'm looking to get something a little more aggressive with more pop, I'm guessing going with something that has a 3-stage rocker apposed to the progressive i have currently. I'm 5'10" 175lbs. Anything else I should be looking for, or boards that are just generally badass to ride on. I've grown accustomed to my current bindings (hyperlite spin) so I'd like something that can utilize these, I know they aren't the best, but my foot just feels so damn comfortable in them. Thanks in advance for the help.

Jonathan

p.s. - I mostly ride behind a weighted I/O, but occasionally get a chance to ride behind a real boat.

wow, aside from teh 175 lbs thing ur just like me, i learned on hyperlite spin bindings and loved em, until i tried out the 04 temet bindings, and i love them, hyperlite spin bindings just dont give enough support, once u change to a more supportive binding ull never go back. As for the board, i know im gonna probably get ripped on for this b ut i love hyperlite boards, and if ur planning on sticking with hyperlite, id go with either a motive (i have a motive 134 and it has so much pop) or any of the pro models, its kinda pricey, but i get discounts........

Get the Hyperlite Byerly 137 If You Want A Ton of pop and an aggressive feel

But If Your looking too have fun get the Liquid Force Fish 129. Its Easy to spin and there isn't hard landings

For bindings Get the CWB Zeus and put the
Pqarks Boot Strap on Them And It has more support

Just Wait and Get a 2006 board or wait till winter and get a discount on the 2005 board

Peace

CWB Absolute = The best board I've ever ridden. The 141 will fit you perfect. It has a ton of pop (3.1 inches if rocker) and is incredibly smooth. Fast with fins, slow without incredibly fun without. Try it & you will be hooked.

B Schall it's funny what you said about the Zeus' I took the plastic support thing out so they'd be a little more tweakable. But thats just me.

if youre looking for HL check out the Era.
if youre looking for LF check out the Omega. (or the Omega package)
if youre looking for CWB check out the Absolute.
if youre looking for Gator check out the Ricky G.

all of these boards are good for you to progress on, and you can use your Spin bindings on all these boards.
