I don't have one of those diamond handles on my line so I can't just pull the handle behind my back to get wrapped, i need to turn into the wrap I think. So, to do this I need to do a backside surface 180 w/o a handle pass? I could use help on how to do this and also how to try a wrapped 540 once i'm wrapped and ready to go. I've never rode wrapped either so tips are welcome there. I've gotten fairly good at 360's but i'm honestly getting bored with them and 360's feel kinda Taco Bell Chalupa, i wana stomp a 5... _________________ signatures are lame |

| you pretty much need something to grip on your handle. theres no way in hell your going to do a controlled spin if your just riding wrapped with 1 hand |

ok, ya, that makes sense... now i'm thinking about it more and rather than doing a pre-wrap, i'm going to try and land wrapped... on a 3 at least, then revert out. that would look so sick, plus if i dont have to worry about the handle i can throw in an indy grab no prob. _________________ signatures are lame |

You don't need a second handle to wrap or do wrapped tricks (though it does help to have a thicker braid or somthing on the rope so you can give the rope a little tug to get your rotation started.
To wrap, the easiest way is to grab the rope with a baseball grip with the top hand (palm up) on the side that you want the rope on. Give a strong pull with both hands to your hip and let go of the rope with your bottom hand and grab behind your back. Once your back hand re-grabs the bottom of the handle, let go with your top hand and grab the rope in front of you.
Pull the handle in a smooth motion past you hip to the small of your back. You will get it no prob.
