Ramp is usually used to launch you in the air while sliders are meant to slide/balance yourself over a certain distance and tend to be more technical...

Like on a snowboard if you do that... A slider is like a rail or a funbox, while a ramp is like a kicker or jump to go higher than normal. _________________
