Hi, I'm riding a Hyperlite Motive 140. It has 4 molded fins of about 1" each and two removable fins of about 2" each. A this moment, I'm able to jump w2w but I have difficulties trying surface tricks. Should I remove my two fins and ride juste with my 4 molded fins? |

I’ve never ridden that board. Does the board ever feel loose at times? If not, you could remove or reduce the size of the center fins. My boards all have a center/sweet spot where they become loose enough for surface tricks. Check that your balance is centered and that you’re not leaning back. _________________ WARNING! i also have a hyperlite motive 140 with those same exact fins and molded in fins, i can do surface tricks jus fine, cept the powerslide, its tough but i havnt tried taking them off yet. if you keep practicing youll be able to do the surface tricks awsome without having to take anything off your board. _________________ ILWakeAir |

on that motive i think the removable fins are about 1.7" so you will get a little resistance when trying to switch, just even up the weight and kick it around. Those molded fins are about 1.3" and you can ride on those with to much problem without the center fins. Just get comfortable without them before you try going big. you might feel a bit squirelly gR. _________________ MY BOAT RUNS ON GAS, NOT THANKS. |
