| Is it worth trying to learn how to ride behind a jet ski? Since I'm the only person in my group with experience driving a boat, I never get into the water, but anybody can drive a jet ski. Is it worth trying. I just want to get out of the water and cruise around a bit. Also, which foot should I put forward to learn? I kick a ball with my right foot, but I slalom with either foot forward. |

Its alot harder behind a jet ski in my eyes, but if you're experienced enough to get up you'll be good...Well whichever way feels better, most ppl remember their skateboarding days... _________________ Double up w/ hyperlite bindings |

For learning but not much else.
I get all my friends (experienced or not) time behind the wheel of my boat. This gives them enough experience to pull me around. When you have friends that sometimes flake out, it’s always great to have another driver on hand. _________________ WARNING! NooB status means that anything I might say is absolute total crap. |

Jetskis are okay I find the takeoff a little harder because you cant really ease into the takeoff. As far as which foot forward there are a couple ways to test this and they most the time hold true.
1. Stand with feet together and have someone push you forward gently. the foot you put out first is the one you should put first on the board.
2. put on some socks, or visualize, run down a hall, stop and slide. The foot you have first is the one to put first on the board.
good luck |

A jet ski is a good way to learn. Although the gettin up process is a lil harder and gets your legs wore out quickly. Trick wise though it gets u familiar with doin tricks with out the fear of a huge wake. If you are startin out, its great. Oh, dont think u cant do anything with the small ripple of a wake, i do air 3's all day on one. Ive landed one invert, but that requires playin with differ speeds, swirvin with jet ski, and then shoppin for a wake. _________________ Impressive Newb! |

I'd say stick wit the plan of teachin one of yer buds to drive. But if your lookin to buy a jet ski, Sea Doo's got a WAKE specialty model which has a mini tower in the back and bracket-like things on the side to hold yer board. its a 155 hp so its got some zip...but looks to me like u gotta take off yer bindings every time you want to strap on yer board to the PWC...
heres the link to it: http://www.seadoo.com/en-US/Watercrafts/2005/Sport/WAKE/Introduction.htm
keep it real,

| Im wakeboarding behind a jetski right now because Im just learning, But I can see how it will get boring real quick. The whole idea behind wakeboarding is actually having a wake to play with. |
