|
|
I tried a few tantrums for the first time this weekend. I normally like to try flips without the rope first, to see if I have the height, correct rotation. Anyway, I do. I was basically landing on my board everytime (no rope, let go on purpose).
Unfortunately I did not have a chance to try it with the rope and was wondering if there is anything special i need to do to keep the rope from pulling me out of the rotation? Thanks _________________ Don't listen to advice from people who can't land that trick. My list:
HS+TS w2w jumps, HS+TS w2w 180, backroll
working on: I don't know, so happy I just landed backroll! |

| You don't need to do anything special just make sure you square up when you pop and you will stick it. The rope will give you the option of speeding up or slowing down but thats about it. The rope will only pull you out of the trick if you don't let off edge or throw it crooked. |

Thanks. On other flips I have tried the rope will pull me out of it often. When I try the trantrum, should I have my handle arm bent or straight? _________________ Don't listen to advice from people who can't land that trick. My list:

| I do my tantrums with a slight bend in the lead arm, the tighter you have the handle in the faster you rotate. If you think you are gonna over rotate let your arm out a bit. It mainly depends on the pop. |
