If you insist on going, you will be stuck staying away from the event as Konocti has decided that you WILL see at least one concert IF you want to stay there and pay their outrageous 150$ a night room rate. There are some places to stay outside of Konocti - one I heard of is an Indian casino +-30 miles away.
Boardstock really went out of their way to make this event even more horrible than last year. They really should just give it up. Screw Boardstock, and screw the people who put the show on. _________________

South Bay Boarders are staying at Funtime Resorts on the south end of the lake. We are about 15 min by boat from Boardstock. The camping rates are $26 a night and they have boat slips also. Thay also have cabins and they go from $60 to $70 a night. We still have spots left if you ar interested e-mail me at ssrh@charter.net

skinautique1985, it will be nothing like Shasta. Shasta was about riding, partying, and having a good time. Too bad it got out of hand.
Now it is about money, greed, and oh yeah, money. The people who run it have taken the soul out of the event, and made it an 'extreme' sports showcase.
Also, I say good frickin luck to the WWA tourney, who will most likely be riding in some really crappy conditions.
If you are going, enjoy if you can, but just remember what is now behind this event - greed. _________________
