powerslide to frontside 360?

hey everyone,

i'm only about a month and a half into wakeboarding so i'm still working on beginer tricks.
as i was practicing my powerslides I figured out i could take the powerslide into a frontside 360.
I am sure i'm not the first person to do this, and as of right now I can pull it off about one in every three tries.
I was just wondering if anyone has any suggestions to pull this trick constistantly. thanks!

are you doing the powerslide on your toeside edge? so its like you shifty it out and then bring it around for the 3. post a vid it sounds interesting. as far as i know not too many people try doing real crazy surface tricks other than like surface 7s and big powerslides and lipslide stuff. Im not sure how many people could really help you out. post a vid of you sticking it and crashing tho if possible.

ummm....i cut out heelside when i do the powerslide. i just cut out as far as i can, then, i turn the board, and my back will be facing forward instead of my chest, then i continue the rotation to make a complete 360.
but yeah, i'll try and get some video of it.
ive seen people do this like a backside 180, but haven't really seen anyone do it as a 360.

Yeah I think that would be a surface backside 3 because you spin the backside 180 first. I'll occasionally do them in the butter, you pull out into a powerslide then pull the handle to your butt and pass it then when you come out switch just slide the frontside 180. Its also a pretty cool transistion trick to do if you have some nice water, i.e. powerslide to backside 180 then come back in for a half cab or something..

yea i do those all the time i love em, u cut out heelside, break your fins out, powerslide, and as you lose your speed, pass the handle and bring around the 360. But be careful, if you Bubb Rubb it up and catch your heelside edge youll regret it

yeah, sorry about the title of this post. it is definatley a powerslide to backside 360 that i'm trying to do, not frontside. I've been able to do it several times, esecially when i first started off, but now it seems like I'm having a harder time doing it, probably mental.

but anyways can anyone give me a good description of the proper technique to do this trick, like where to hold the rope coming off the powerslide into the rotation, or any other good tips in general to nail this trick constistantly.

also just a newb question, but what is bubb rubb, or what does it mean, thanks!

Do you powerslide into the spin? like when someone butters a spin on a snowboard? are you just finishing the powerslide as you launch off the wake or do you do it earlier? if you do it as youre leaving... that's awesomely insane. post a vid!
