Wassup!
I am new here but not to wakeboarding, boats, or online forums.
My name is Jamie, I am 32, male, and I am addicted to wakeboarding.
I have a 01 Bayliner (yeah yeah I know) Capri 195 LX, 4.3L I/O
I added a Monster tower a couple of weeks ago, installed myself.
I am a DIY kinda person, I build custom off road trucks amongst many other things.
Current boat projects:
-Ballast
-walk through windshiled wind guard, custom front seat cushin to make the bow a full seat (pics coming)
-Remove Bayliner graphics from side of boat (gay yellow and blue "swooshes")
-tint windows
-Tower speakers
-custom storage compartments
and many more planned
I am always looking for people and places to ride, I frequent Chatfield resevoir when its not crowded (early or late, evenings during the week)
I also hit up Carter, Jackson, Peublo, and any other local lake we can find..
Road trips to:
Glendoe, Medicine Bow, Flaming Gorge, Navajo, and anything else within 8-10 hour tow.
So Nice to meet ya!
I have been skiing (snow) since I was 4, snowboarded a little bit but prefer two sticks, wakeboarding for about 5 years, I got a late start and its a short season in CO, missed most of last year living in So Cal, but slowly I am getting better, goals for this season are W2W 360, come on I'm an old man I gotta set the bar low... hahaha
Anyways thats my story!!
Hey how come half the pics on this forum dont show up for me? |

Welcome to Colorado and just keep going to Chopfield and the other state parks because it keeps the rest of the puddles here in Colorado nice for the rest of us. |

to clarify I meant I was new to this forum, not to CO.
I was born in CO in 73, I got to Chatfield because it is 5 minutes from my house.
but thanks!
And I am guessing your kinda being a jerk about what other lakes are good around here then? hahahaha its allright I wont take you to the good parties No seriously I know locals have their spots all picked out and like to keep them to themselves its cool with me! I am just looking for cool people to board with more often, I dont care where, when, or whos boat, I just wanna ride.... |

410Fortune - being a newbie you obviously don't understand that the means that I am clearly joking. I have never liked Chopfield but it is one of the biggest lakes in the state. I have access to a private lake (Secret Spot) up north so I can tend to get butter on any day of the week if I want to drive a little further. Typically I ride at Boulder Res since it is a 15 minute drive from my house. I too was born in CO in 75 so we are both Colorado natives you can say. If you want to party then bring it on and maybe we can get you up to the Secret Spot sometime once you lose that newbie status. |

Copy that!
I understand what you meant, I was also trying to be light hearted
I am a very active member on alot of truck forums, the most popular is Explorer4x4.com, I am familiar with forum ediquite and like to come off as a hard edged newbie that takes no crapola hahaha
I dont expect you guys to give up sectret spots, you can blindfold me!
hahahaha
as for the parties, I lied, you guys are invited! hahaha I am in the process of buying a house, when I get it I will be 5 min from Chopfield (hahaha) right now I am 15.
I dont like Chopfield either, but its close and if you go during the right times, it can be a bitchin lake.
Thanks fellas, networking is what its all about..... |

| Talk to Leggster on this forum. He always rides over at Chopfield because it is close to his house as well. WakeWorld also tends to have a large Denver contingent and most of them ride at Chopfield as well. Stay in touch and maybe we can get you some butter riding in the lovely state of Colorado. Check my profile pic for a peak at the Secret Spot. |

My boat: (yeah yeah bottomliner jokes aside, I stole this boat for a deal I couldnt pass up, suite me fine)

| Carter always seems to jacked up on the weekends with the tubers and cruisers when I have been there. I have never been there during the middle of the week though. It is a beautiful lake though and since the dam at Horsetooth has been fixed it has been a better spot for boarding. There is a great lake in Wyoming that you can PM me about that is basically glass at any time of the week or day. |

copy that, I have not been to Horsetooth in about 4 years....
I always find smooth water at Carter along the edges??
Maybe our definition of smooth varies hahahaha or I am too used to Chopfield.
I am no stranger to driving up to WY for the weekend......hells yeah!
A couple of friends were talking about Jackson lake tomorrow, funny thing I have never been there and had never heard of it until this week... |
