What is advantage of a tower ovewr a pylon extension. I have a '95 Malibu Response, and I don't really want to start drilling holes in it.

Trust me. Get the tower. I used a pylon extension on my Response, and it made what is already a small boat feel like a dinghy. I hated that damn thing. The tower made the boat useable again by getting the boards out of the way, freeing up the pylon for towables and providing a place for speakers. Aside from PerfectPass, the tower was the best addition to my boat yet.

we have a pylon, but whenever nobody's wakeboarding, we take it down and put it on the dock. The tower definately has some advantages (^), but if you don't want to drop $1,000 + on one, just get the pylon. It does the same thing riding-wise
