Hey guys I realize there has been many forums on toesdie jumping but I would much rather have someone just tell me strait up. I have a good progressive edge toeside to the wake, thats not a problem. What I'm having a problem with is actually clearing the wake sufficiently and getting good pop. What seems to be happening is that I'm getting yanked when I get in the air and I cant hold on to the rope with two hands. Do I need to have a really tight grip on the handle and keep it closer to my hip? Any suggestions?
i had trouble with it forever too.... edge pretty hard... bend ur knees pretty far and pop right as you hit the wake, and i usually let go with my back hand and land one handed. i now get higher toeside then heelside
When your cutting into the wake try and pull the handle right into your hip so it is literally as close to touching it as you can get it. At the same time think about pushing the handle down your body as you lean into your cut as you should be cutting harder and harder, leaning more and more.. Also make sure you keep your body position solid all the way into the wake, tense your upper body and dont let anything move except your lean into the rope.. this will give you a top progressive cut... _________________ Riding
