My daughter and I are just learning to wakeboard. We are able to cross the wake and get a few inches of air LOL front slide easily. We want to learn to do more!

I am looking for suggestions on a good instructional video we can order to learn from. We have never done any watersports before now so I am sure we need something that teaches the mechanics.

TIA

I just bought a DVD called Waketrix:True to the Moment from my local board store. It is great and teaches you right from geting up thru board control and works you up to the big tricks. It even has coaching tips for each trick that explains the common problems people have.

If you have someone who is better than you to ride with that is one way to help also higher Education and the Book are veryg ood instructional videos where as Detention is more riding than teaching. Lessons are expensive but if you have a good coach around and you research his credentials and he sounds good then they are well worth it.

Thanks All. I may check out the video. I know there are a lot of wakeboarders around but haven't been able to get out with any of them. (no invites yet) I did get out with a guy who slolam skis. I know it's not the same but he was able to give me some tips and seemed to pick up the wakeboard concept after watching me get up and cross the wake a few times for him. I also know of a guy who gives lessons fairly close by but the $$$ are a consideration. But I will keep this in mind and once again. I appreciate allt he replies to my post.
