So I found the site yesterday after googling wakeskate video and watching a ton of vids.. Saw this forum and was checking all your sliders.. It was overcast and skatered showers today so spent the afternoon building a ghetto/beginner slider... The 2x4 is covered with trailer carpet. Gotta love having a garage full of crap.
Check it out bro...
Our lake is total mud bottom. The lower horizontal 2x4s are bolted to the saw horses and swivel out to extend the legs to 12 ft or so. Then another bolt is fixed to keep them in place. This way we can stealth it out into a cove and bring it home. Yet to ride it.. Tomorrow is the maiden voyage.. Will post some pics of the debautchery. _________________ http://deadphiles.org/~cliff/raqmusic.htm |

| Welcome SnowRide,! MY first suggestion on that slider is to make it alot longer as soon as you get on that thing you will be off. |

Yea bro you are going to ollie right over that slider and prolly not even touch it. Pull the carpet off and just use the wood. _________________ Texas Tige |

i have a good feeling carpet is gona gie you trouble, if you want something carpet-like, use astro-turf (that plasticy fake grass carpeting) or go to home depot and get some bathtub walling. its only like $10 for a huge 4X8 ft sheet. _________________ <CBV>
