the fish was pretty sick. i actually rode it in some pretty rough water and at times it didnt feel so good (not that any board would in rough water). i think next time im gonna get a bigger size but it was fun for the short while i rode it before i turned the corner and got some butter. then it was skate time Smile

i think it was bidwell that we launched out of. that sounds right...i dont remember reading lime saddle at all. we just found a launch ramp and used it haha. we went to the one that has two launch ramp areas and a dock in the middle. on each side of the dock there was enough room for 2 people to back down. the dock was small. real small.

and LOTS of debris. here is one of the branches that we hit that was submerged. basically we couldnt see it, then hit it, then had to dis-lodge it from the outdrive. thank god my parents boat is an i/o, because it hit the outdrive and not the prop. if we were on an inboard it could have wrecked the prop and wrecked our day. aint nothing like playing "dodge the debris" all day while battling whitecaps. there was hardly any ridable water there when we went.

when the sun is out the water reflects light back and it is difficult to see the debris floation flush with the water so if u buy a cheap pair of poloroized sunglasses it makes it a lot easier and saves u money

About a week ago me and my brother hit a huge log, it shot trim straight up, but nothing is wrong with it. I don't have pics, so just imagine a decent sized tree, it was hidden by the waves.

ive hit my prop twice going to lime saddle, the marina just left of bidwell. the water rose sooooo fast that theres probally like 40 trees floating in the water. once that stuff clears out its perfect though.

polarized sunglasses dont allow you to see what is floating beneath the water's surface. they are sick, though...and i wont touch unpolarized glasses.

it was funny cuz there was soooo much debris washed up on the launchramp that half the ramp was blocked by logs Laughing

-scotta posting under k-dub's screen name cuz im too lazy to log in under my name...
