I'm a regular wakeboarder and I want to try out wakeskating but done want do buy one. Since I have no wakeskating friends i want to know if it would be possible to build my own wakeskate. _________________ Peter Griffin:

Because if it is, it probably runs like you - very homosexually. |

It'll cost just as much as buying a cheap flat deck, but I will say you get a wayyyyy better feeling when you're riding, just knowing that you put your sweat and blood into it. And building them is really fun. _________________ ...island style... |

| yah and as you get building more of them, they get cheaper ,becasue all you need to do is buy the wood, and once you have tried them out and rode one for awhle and know is good you can sell some to your friedns for a bit more then the cost of the board. then everyone can go out and rip it up! |

| I allready have a cassette but I was thinking of making one just to mess around. Just get a piece of treated 2 by 12 a little bigger and cut out the middle on the top to make it have kicktails and then cut a little on the bottom for a rocker. Then grip it and paint it and have fun! It wouldnt cost much, nor would it be hard. It probably wouldnt be too strong or ride that well but it would be fun. |
