| The Headless Chicken, sorry, my mistake. This thing is intense man......the quality is soooo damned high......i hooked it up to my friends big screen tv (7 foot screen or something like that....he has too much $$$$) and holy crap! it's still sharp n what not.....forgive me for a giddy little schoolgirl, but I've been working with a teeny weeny dv camera for the past 2 years

Ctipping, 150 fps???? youve got to be kidding me, that is incredibly high. most digital 8 camcorders film at around 29 fps. i never knew VHS cams were such high quality. are you going to be able to edit with this cam though? will you be able to plug it to your comp and such?

Ctipping, let me know how it goes that might be something to look into haha. looking to the past for better quality, who woulda thought?
ive always been interested in shooting 16 mm video. you can get cameras for very cheap on ebay but it would be tough to learn and a hard process to turn it into digital film.

| 16mm costs like $19 for a minute of film and developing. I wouldnt suggest using it unless you are pro.

| I know how to get it on th comp, you need a special plug in the back of your comp, you plug this thing in there, and then on the other end you can use an RCA cord and plug in a VCR, or camera. It works good, just apture at best quality.

| I have this card in my computer that has a plug for the video cable and i can plug stuff in like video cameras or a vcr or xbox or anything you'd want to and it records it onto ur computer. Its called a video capture device or something like that but i'm sure it'd work for you. All I do is hook it up and start this program on my computer and hit play on the camera and the program starts recording it.

Ctipping,
I think the one we have was the one that came with studio, i would go ahead and get studio it is the BEST editing software out in my opinion for home use. The cord itself was purple, and you could either do RCA or SVideo, I believe it had the brand name AVI. I will do a little searching and talk to someone who knows about it.

ok i think i found what you need. this should do it.
http://www.compusa.com/products/product_info.asp?product_code=315276&pfp=cat1&tabtype=rb
The company is ATI, there software is very easy to use. I use it at school for our Close curcuit television. I think that is what you need. It also includes the TV tuner so you can hook up cable. I think at school we have ATI rage theatre. I think what i gave the link to will work. someone correct that if I am wrong though. What editing program will you be using?
