I just bought a neoprene jacketed spectra rope and need a handle to go with it. I've seen so many different types of handle and don't know which one to pick. My budget is less than $70 or so.

I would think that a handle strung w/specta would be a must, but most of the handles for sale don't specify. Anything I should be aware of before I buy? Thanks in advance.

mattroth54, it doesnt really matter. You just want non stretch in the handle and then just pick whatever grip you want. All handles are mostly the same. (Unless you get a carbon handle which you dont need. Just more money)

I almost bought that accurate handle from buywake, but for some reason I settled on the straightline DD stiffy aeomeba. Looks nice, matches the boat, but the weather is not cooperating this weekend to try it out. Anyone know much about this handle?

the main 2 types of grip are eva and rubber. I have 2 of each and I will say that the rubber gives me blisters on my fingers. They do seem to grip better and I know others that don't have a problem with blisters.

Getting a wrap handle is another option. I don't do any wrapped tricks but I have the handles there just in case I wanted to start.
