Post up!
Where are you getting yours?
What are you paying?
Any good deals to be had?
As for me...
So far, I am leaning back towards Sierra/Star if for nothing else, convenience. I am going for the college pass (I enrolled in the local JC just to do it) so that I have very little limitations. It is $269 this year, and is only blacked out at Star during holidays.

The Wood is good, $299 all-access. I offered it up to you all, but no takers.
Who wants to start tossing dates for a December WB.com rendevous at the Lakeside? Second weekend maybe?

jryoung, I was itchin to go with the wood, but I know too many people with the whammy, and on top of that it is a minimum 30 minutes longer to get there (very optimistic estimate!).
I do love the wood though! (did I just say that????)
Lets get on the Lakeside Inn trips!
Trip 1: 2nd weekend of December sounds good to me.
Trip 2: Last weekend of February maybe?
Hockey and Liquid (and anyone else), you are welcome to join the fun!

Chavez, gotta get back to you on the dates; I am a graduating senior and finals are dec 17th, so it looks bad now but who knows? Feb sounds good depending on tax season work load, Ughh.
Everyone start praying for a season like last years. I will be doing the snow dance in my room each night while I prep my gear, lol.

For boreal thats a lot of toys for their mountain. I would think Sierra (and others) prob has close to same numbers but on a larger hill. Hopefully they will designate different level areas so you dont end up with a bunch of kids in line staring at them. For some reason Sierra never puts all their toys out? Last season they had jibs for contests that stayed the rest of the year, but didnt get put in until the contests.

I purchased 2 ($120, $200) season passes last spring for the upcoming season. I might get one more in the UP.
chavez I would consider it, but I think you guys are to far away for a weekend trip. I would like to make a week trip out to Utah, but we will see.

somepunk22, last year was a good time. Not crazy, no drama. Just chilling and having a good time.
If you have the means, I highly recommend it.

My resort passes are $425, $450, and $620 so I will not be touching those.
I'd like to get one to SnowShoe but $629 seems rediculas as well.

I think I'm going to go with the north/sierra pass this year as well. The past 3 seasons I've been over at heavenly. That was just because of convenience my friends dad bought a hotel across the street from the the gondola. I want to switch it up this year.
I'm fired up about this season. I only got in 5 days last year befor my injury, then had to watch all the storms come through on TV, it really sucked. I think this year I'll take the year off from the park and do more freeriding. But we'll see.

Yeah chavez, get busy scheduling this.
I think a few good places to ride are Alpine, Kirkwood, and Squaw. I say this because this group tends to hit up Sierra & Northstar a lot. These would be a good mix, especially the back bowls of Alpine (Midget Chutes anyone?).
Unfortunately, 3 day weekends suck in Tahoe. Maybe a Friday through Monday and whoever can make it all four days, great, only the weekend, thats fine too. I'm thinking middle to end of Jan. When College is back in session for smaller crowds.

somepunk22, last time Lakeside was right about $100 a night. Lift tix can be had for less than $50 if you get the right deals.
www.slidingonthecheap.com usually lists the deals when they come out.
I am going to start a seperate thread to discuss the Tahoe trip(s).

160 CAN dollars. Mount Seymour, just a small local mtn. but has a sick terrain park. It's got some nice hidden runs too.

this thread just gets me depressed. I tore my acl in June. I am having it fixed w/in the month. Unfortunately I probably won't get to see any mountain action this year. This hurts b/c I lived at Keystone last year. Jay Dutton is probably the only person on this board that got more time on the mountain than me.

Double Whammy again this year. Should I move off of the 50 corridor I might consider a pass to the wood.
LAKESIDE here we come... This year I'm coming out ahead.

kswiss, that was me with wakeboard season....all rehabbed and ready for snowboarding......BUT I will never hit another table-top again (At least not a 15 ft one).
No pass for me this year. No $$. But I will definitely be up for the 2nd Annual WB.com Tahoe Weekend of Debauchery.
