hey, i have another thread going but am hoping you folks can help me out. i want to buy a decent board with bindings, something good quality, but not super high end. can you help me pick out something to learn on. i'm guessing based on my stats that i will need like a 140+.
i'm just under 6' and weigh 225lbs. i want to be able to share the board at least starting out with my wife who's about 5'8" and weighs about 125-135lbs. if we like it, i'll buy her a new board next year.
can you guys give me some specific models that are designed for the beginner in mind please?
My beginner board that I keep on the boat is a CWB Sol 141 with Mobe L-XXL bindings. It's a decent board especially for a beginner and the Mobes provide quite a bit of support for adjustable bindings. 259.99 at buywake.com. _________________ Cybernetic Ghost-I am the ghost of Christmas Past and I will tell you what Christmas was like
Any board you get for you is going to be too big for her.
I mean you could both ride say a 141 but she would be much better off on a 131.
I would say go with a Liquid Force EVO 142 and then if she likes it get her a board pretty quick but I mean if she doesnt get into it and only rides a couple times a year, your board would do her fine
