That wasn't so bad. Looked like he was about 45 feet up or so and then he pushed the kite too far outside the window. I just wonder how deep the water was that he landed in. Look for some videos of people doing kiteloops gone bad if you wanna see some painful spills. I just saw a vid recently of Jason Slezak slipping off the upwind side of a slider and breaking a 2x4 with his chest! Apparently he busted a couple ribs in the process.

Yeah, that was a nice boost, but not an uncommonly big one. You really shouldnt overpower and boost like that in 6" of water. If you dont fly the kite right and end up coming in hot, your knees will hit your face (like that guy). If he was in 3' of water, it would have been no big deal. Shallow water can be smooth and fun, just dont go out all lit and bomb it that hard. if you want to do that, find a deeper spot.
