Almost there. Waiting on some wiring and the bimini to be lowered. A different pic in the wake forum.

| Best bindings I've been on.. super cushy, tons of support. And your feet don't fall asleep, even when tight as a bitch. By the way, they are the new Zues'.

"bimini to be lowered"
Souldn't that just be a matter of repostioning those front clamps on the lower hoop back a slight bit thus raising the front slightly and lowering the back so it doesn't rub? Or did you have something else in mind?
Sweet looking setup(very clean), congrats and enjoy.
Steve

It needs to be lowered drastically (6"). To do this you have to cut off about three inches of each leg, and slide a few of them around. I'm lowering the whole thing...not just the front or back.
Your idea works though! I just want mine really low.

That pic is awesome. I like this pic better than the pic in the other forum because you can see more of the boat in this one. Enjoy!!!!!!!

It's all about the bling bling dude. I had a Boss Swoop on my 02, loved it, no flex. I decided to go with the Mexican lowrider approach this year. I'm having a bitch of a time hooking up hydraulics on the trailer, and the neon under the hull keeps shorting out.
I almost knocked myself out the first time I stood up in the back. I would say I'll never do that again, but...I'm sure I will.
Anyone know where I can get those big ass Chinese stickers to put along the side?

I'm with you on the bling bling.....We have had the billet on the VLX for a little over a month now, and i'm not too stoked on it! The Boss Swoop would have been a better choice IMHO. I had the Swoop on my last boat, and loved it. The VLX had the Skylon Swoop on it before the Billet, and not a problem.....then this billet tower, don't even get me started!!!

The Billet has a very nice look, but it is not very well engineered. I saw the black and white boat at the tour stop in Orlando last weekend.
I'd like to see a hybrid between the Titan II and the Billet. Basically, a Titan with a side profile like the Billet, including wide front legs until past the walk through window (so you can open it), and a more extreme arch on the rear legs.

i never really noticed how far back the billet tower is until now. About how much clearance do you have w/ your speakers on?

The billet tower is by far one of the best looking towers but if it wobbles and is too low... I'm all about function over form.

orzech...I don't know exactly how much clearance there is from floor to the bottom of the speaker. But, I'm about 5' 10"-11"....everytime I stand up from the rear seat, I nail my head on the speakers.
It is a little higher than the proto-type that I had on the boat I was driving at the Boardstock comp., and it also did'nt collapse then either. So, it makes me think....If the one at Boardstock did'nt wobble, and was about 5-6 inches lower, without collapsable joints and hinges....maybe the changes to the tower were for the worse??? I really don't know myself...I love Boss products, and always have. I just miss my old Collapsable swoop that was on my old Centurion! That was the stiffest, best tower I think I have ever had, hands down. I just wish that this Billet tower were that way....

I heard some rumors that someone is coming out with a 2 7/8 Billet style tower. Damn.

It's still one of the best looking setters I've ever seen, but don't stand up on the back seat A little taller and stiffer and the tower would rock
