Buying a new board

My buddy is looking for a new board to buy and he needs my help to figure out what to get. He just stuck his first wake to wake and now he is hooked along with the rest of us. The main thing he wants to know about is board size, and I am stumped. He is about 5'9 and 180. Short and stalky, what size board should he ride?

Yeah, I wouldn't go smaller than a 137. I'd probably recommend about a 140.
