|
|
ok i have a problem. on my HS w2w jumps, my front foot, way to often, slides forward in my binding. thus making almost half my foot, or so it feels, hang out the toe of my binding. this pretty much ends my run, cause i can not slide it back with out eating crap.
ive tried different bindings, still happened. mine normal bindings are cwb mobes l-xl. it even did it with a pair of 04 parks, size large.
This is a new occurance. just in the past two outings. is there something im doing wrong? am i landing to much on my heel, or does this happen to anyone else?
thanks. |

Tighten the bottom part of your binding. This month's WBM has an article describing proper binding fit.

I had those exact same bindings same size and have same shoe size... Happened to me coming down from a jump a few months ago and ended in a very rough landing which bruised my knee and put me out of the game for a month. Thats when I took them off my board and threw em in my closet where they have been since.... Personally I think its a binding defect for the mobes.. first of all the whole interior of the binding itself is kinda slippery just with water and second it doesn't not offer proper tightness when tightening them... so slippery binding + not enough hold = problems. I would say suck it up and invest money in a good pair of bindings, DEMO DEMO DEMO... I now ride with sphynx and they are great and havent had any problem...
Good luck |

| If you cinch those Parks towards the bottom it should be pretty tight, thats strange your feet are still getting stuffed. I would either adjust your bindings or get new ones, that is going to kill your focus on wake jumps. |

Jim M, i did cinch them down pretty good. and it only happend oncei n the parks. and it wasnt as drastic as in the mobes.
perhaps it is time to look into new bindings. |
