so, would it be a good idea to buy a used board on ebay? i saw the picture of the board, and it really does seem like its barely been used.
so would it be a good idea for $55? (BTW, its a Pig board).....

NO!!!!!!

Used Skateboards are not the same kind of thing as used wakeboards, or even snowboards.

Probably not a good idea.

Nice try, but they actually retail for closer to $80, and that's only if you get a blank deck. If you get any big name company deck you can expect to drop $100+ for a complete.

If you're really hard up for money & want a skate then I don't think E-bay's such a bad option. It's definitely better than buying a brand new $20 from Walmart. Post the link to the auction & then we can see if it looks like a good deal.

Jester, whaaaat? Are you talking about a name brand deck with graphics on it, say a girl deck, for $80? I have never seen a deck over $60 at all my local shops.

Oops. Actually, I guess I misinterpreted the original post. Usually when people ask about stuff on E-bay it's for completes so that's what I assumed, but the original post actually only talks about a deck. So yeah, $60 is DEFINITELY the upper limit, usually you can score a name brand deck for $40-50 (less if you know where to look).
