Anyone have any luck with these job search sites...if so which ones do you recommend.
monster.com does not seem to yield results in relation to the size of the site. |

The key to using Monster.com, Hotjobs.com, careerbuilder.com, etc. is updating your resume. Every 10-14 days, go in and edit your resume, even if it is as little as adding a period. This will move your resume to the top of the list, and will show up as a new submission when recruiters do a search. I have had very little luck applying to jobs on these boards, but I have had several corporate recruiters locate my resume on these boards.
As a matter of fact, I have interview with Dell computer today as a result of them finding my resume on Monster.com.
Good luck in your job search! _________________

Good responses so far on this thread thanks.
I was possibly wanting to relocate from Florida to So.California, I am currently a
systems analyst so something in the IT field again would be good.
I have heard mixed results from monster.
Getting a job in the boardsport industry would be cool but it seems pretty difficult
to get into a good job. |

Got my job on Monster (mechanical engineer). Took me about 6 months of searching and applying though. wakahuki is right, the more you update, the higher on the list you'll be. I searched everything though - hotjobs.com, careerbuilder.com, yahoo.com (job section), newspapers, local websites, etc. Anything in the technology field is tough to come by now-a-days. Good luck bro. _________________ Dan DeLaiarro
