| i have a 18 foot boston whaler dauntless, and the trim tags dont work, so i dont know if i should wait and get them fixed ( am not sure if the wake will get bigger, will it?) or buy some of those bags you put water into. what should i do? i want a crazy venezuelan wake. |

first off, put this in the boat general discussion, youll get more responses
second, where are the trim tabs stuck at, if there all the way up, then dont bother getting them fixed, it will make the wake smaller, but with there all the way down, then youll need to get them fixed
third, im not very familiar with whalers, but im not sure you can get a crazy wake out of one. |

venezuelanborder, what model is the boat, a dauntless, outrage, or ventura? Im assuming dauntless but i would make a difference becuase of the dramtically different hull designs. but you should go for the fat-sacks, it will have more of a effect on you wake. _________________ www.teamredwake.com

| its a dauntless. i dont know if there up or down, but we use this boat in the ocean and when the sea is bad the boat jumps alot so i dunno if thats cuz its up or down, i heard if the trim works then the boat would ride smoothly |

if the trim is all the way up the boat will porpoise (jump up and down at higher speeds) but at wakeboard speeds it shouldnt jump
your gonna have to tell me if the trimm tabs are out straight, or if they are facing up at all for me to give you good info
can you post pics of the wake ? |

My bad didnt see that, you are much better going with the sacks, the dauntless hull is pretty shallow so the extra weight would be better. _________________ www.teamredwake.com
