I'm looking for a good program for editing DVD (making chapters, a menu, etc). I'm trying to edit TV Shows and put them on DVDs, so any help is greatly appreciated. _________________ Impossible is not a a fact. It's an opinion. Impossible is not a declaration. It's a dare. I use Adobe Encore DVD...It is a little expensive, but gives you all the freedom you will need to do what you are looking for, and more. _________________ If you do not like your job, you don't strike....You just go in there everyday and do it really half a$$ed.....Now that's the American way - Homer Simpson. |

| I better love DVD Studio Pro 3 over Encore DVD, but you must have a mac for DVD Studio. |

Alright, maybe you can help me garveyj:
I have a TV tuner in my computer, and am taking various TV shows and want to cut the commercials out (esp. for basketball games) so that I can watch them later without hassle. My problem lies in the fact that the pixels that my TV gives me are not compatible with Encore ... How can i change the pixels (can't do it in the TV program, tried that already) or change Encore's settings?
Does anyone else have any other suggestions on programs (I'd also like to make a nice menu, be able to seperate into chapters).
Thanks _________________ Impossible is not a a fact. It's an opinion. Impossible is not a declaration. It's a dare. Impossible is potential. Impossible is temporary. Impossible is nothing.

JamesWatts has some good questions - really Encore is not made for editing the video it self....You would want to edit the film in something like Pinnacle studio, or Adobe Premier.
If you want to make DVD chapters in Encore there is a really good tutorial here:

check out the simple project start to finish video - it should be enough to get you some experience. _________________ If you do not like your job, you don't strike....You just go in there everyday and do it really half a$$ed.....Now that's the American way - Homer Simpson. |
