ITs a good flick. By far the best cinematography I've seen since Free4all.

I've been thinking about picking this up.
But uh...itch, you didn't tell us why you had to stop watching. Were you becoming aroused? _________________ Get Frugally Green!

I just got it last week too. It is really good. I really find myself liking watson's section a bunch. The watson gap was really cool...solidifying Shane as the "nose press" king I think. Lots of great new riders. Also, I have now caught Lyman riding in a couple of movies and he is really smooth. He's now way up on the list for me. Lots of really good riders in this movie without the "board specific" bias you get with Relentless or Welcome. _________________ Eric |

Eh, the Butter Effect was ok. There is a lot of repeated tricks, not like repeated shots but just a ton of HS mobes, 720s, Petes, and too much of the slider session at watson's. I love the fact that its all in 16mm. Also the music sounds like he just picked the it from our local radio station, the End. Cause they pretty much play a lot of those songs/bands non stop. So when I heard the music I was a little bit disappointed. Being from the northwest, I was disapointed that hes filtering out a lot of the northwest's riders, That hes had in his other films, like Bret V and the Ennens. It was still very well done. I just like his other films better. _________________ www.nationsfoundation.org

Oh my goodness, such a great flick. Definitely a must-see for this year. Buy it alone for Lyman. Benny G, Rusty's best part ever. Some fresh stuff from Harf and Aaron Reed as well. They gotta be lovin that bi-level. _________________ Ride harder...

Did you see reed double up re-entry pop suv sick just plain sick, I keep rewatching Rusty's section having seen very little of him before I was very impressed. nwrider I would think having talked to Sean before he will never forget the roots he is being paid by sponsors and he is going to shoot their riders I bet you see v an ennons again in his videos just maybe timing didn't work out. Beside did't starr move to florida for a while? Axcess baby it is sometimes what it's about.

Tyler T, is 16mm that big of a difference from whatever Kilgus used to shoot with? I don't know crap about video, I'm just curious. _________________

16mm refers the size of the film not the type of film used. the big thing is that it is actual film and not tape. that is what gives the movie the warm saturated colors and that differnt look. tape is what you see in all modern camcorders. with 16mm you have to shoot it then get it developed and then a telecine transfer which converts the film to a digital movie file so that it can be edited on a computer. _________________ we pillage we plunder we riffle we loot drink up me hardies yo ho! |
