| I am not really new to the sport... i just thought this would be the best place to get advice. I have been wakeboarding for about 2 years now... but just recently have gotten a boat worth buying a good board for, and now i can start to try some new tricks. I can do a 180 and wake 2 wake, but nothing really other than that. I am about hmm 6'3" 220lbs and athletic, i snow ski/snowboard, water ski, any sport really. I was looking at the parks 143 DNA... cause i really wanna be able to go big, however i am sketchy on whether or not its the best board to progress on. I was also looking at the Murray 14.3, i thought that might be a little bit better to progress, since i don't think its as Balls out as the parks. Let me know what you think. |

I've heard the Parks is one of the most difficult boards to ride. It's definitely not for a beginner/intermediate.
I'd say you'd be better off with another board. _________________ So, I've got that goin' for me...which is nice! |

Yeah the parks is one you really either hate or love. It 'bucks' you at the wake and cuts twice as fast as anything i've ridden before. Dunno, I rode my mates for a while waiting for my new board to come in... got used to it eventually but I dont think I would choose it over something else.. too hard to control, more of a name than anything, even my mate struggles on it sometimes.. gets on my board and seems to progress a lot faster. Have learnt a lot of new tricks on my board, then gone back to doing them on the parks once he had them down.. _________________ Riding

murray aint a bad name... Like the others said stay away from the parks unless u have 4 or 5 years of wakeboarding under your belt... It seems to cut and do everything 10 times quicker...Its hard to adjust to... But once you get good it may be the one _________________ ~~ "Half our life is spent trying to find something to do with the time we have rushed through life trying to save." ~~
