Well I'm back at college again, and I'm going through wakeboarding withdrawl. I just went last weekend to, but then again the water was 34 degrees. Everyone around here is walking around with snowboards and stuff. I never really liked snowboarding around here because the hill is pretty much 75% ice 25% fake snow, and when you fall it hurts like hell. Anyways anyone else going through withdrawls? I had to hang up pictures of my wakeboard because I don't want to bring it into the dorms. With my luck some drunk person will come in one night take my wakeboard and take it for a cruise down the stairs or something. haha. Anyways only 2 more months and its time to go again. |

I also am going through withdrawl. It sucks. I couldn't bear it anymore and had to put all my videos and boards and stuff away because everytime I saw it I thought about wakeboarding and got all anxious and depressed. I used to love the winter, now I can't f'n stand it. Why me? This sucks...snow...ughhh. Later... |

oh yeah, same here. withdrawals suck, i havent been able to go since august. damn school and damn cold weather plus if your naturally a little depressed in the winter(seasonal depression) its even worse. i tore out a bunch of pictures from old "alliance" mags, and put them up in my rooms(dorm & house). so yeah, it does suck alot...i keep thinking 5 more months, 5 more months, 5 more WHAT?? NOOOOOOO.....ok come down off it, it wont seem to take that long, heh yeah right
34 degree water huh...drysuits?? a friend and i were in 40 degrees with wetsuits....that was so cold. plus we prolly stayed out a little longer than we shouldve, we almost ended up getting hypo.. _________________ sing goddess, of the anger of achilles, son of peleus |

Its hard to go thru withdrawls when you live in california. I can pretty much ride all year round, the water never freezes over and it is 85 degrees right now in January. The snowboarding season is very short here in Califoprnia. _________________ If you're gonna ride my ass, pull my hair too!! |

yea, even though it's not recommended, I sometimes use the withdrawal method...oh, wait, wakeboarding.
I haven't been on my board since Labor Day. I guess the only up side to that is that when I get back on it in April, it will be an awesome feeling. _________________ I walk 47 miles of barb wire, I got a cobra snake for a necktie, a brand new house up on the road side, and it's made out of rattlesnake hide |

Yea Dude, withdrawals can even be made worse by buying a couple fat sacs, and a rack. All I can do is fill 'em up with air. Sucks. |

I'm definitely in withdrawl... I have to wait until may, and the fact that I have to find and buy a new vest before then doesn't help it. |

hopefully this summer I can get out atleast 2-3 times a week, but chances of that happening are slim. There is a severe lack of wakeboarders in this area. (The La Crosse, WI Area) |

Chuckee:
I'm from Memphis, and I ride up at Shawano Lake for about a week and half every summer, I'm not sure where La Crosse (I've heard of it) is in relation to Shawano, but if you want we could get together and ride around July. Oh yea, the bakery in Wisconsin is really, really, good.
Later,

Oh man I totally feel your pain. Im from Saskatchewan, and my riding season is only two short..SHORT months, thats with me stretching out my season by launching the boat 3 days after the ice goes out, and putting in my last few rides right before the lake freezes over again. I went and rode twice this summer....twice....two freaking times....im so past withdrawal...its all depseration now hahahaha. I hung a ton of pictures on my wall, and my time on the computer watching videos and posting on here has almost tripled haha. But its all good, just another enthusiast whos anxious to ride, I love the sport. Ride on bro, even if it is only 2 months outta the year. |

I'd like to know how many young kids are addicted to wakeboarding in the summer and Kyle's pics in the winter. I'm addicted but I gonna become the dirty old man when I grow up. _________________ wake up and get HIGH |
