pop it like a crow, but with most of your weight on the back foot, instead of the front. Once you hit the wake don't go over the board with your head like a roll, but to the side and bring your ear down...like look over your front shoulder. Hard to explain

Can you do a cork 5? The pop is pretty much the same, it's just very different with the rope. Try it a few times and see how it works out. Post some video and you'll get more specific advice. Best of luck.

thanks for the advise. yeah cork 5s are possible, i cant do them though. THe ole' gives it a cork-ish sort of look and feeling. I tried 1 today and didnt get very far, mainly because it was so choppy (lake washington,^^ aka lake washingmachine). But im going to try a bunch tomorow morning and hopefully i will get some video of it to post. Later.

good luck I have landed a couple on accident, therefore I really can't explain to you. Do what the other guys said, and once you get it down the method grab with it looks sick.

try keeping the handle low until the last possible moment and sort of scoop it up over head and back down low again in a smooth motion as you spin. this will easily complete the rotation and should set you up for a fairly smooth landing.

I wonder, is this what I end up doing on some of my crow attemps?
I feel like I get layed out sometimes and not able to go over the board...
I put a picture in my profile of this (I won't be able to extract any video until next week)

YES!!! Had the same problem for a while. It's caused by too much weight ont he back foot. When you hit the wake on a crow you want to basically stomp your front foot. This will fix it.

Thanks man! I'll definitely concentrate on stomping the front foot now.
Sounds like it will solve my problem
