I have a friend that has a 04 22i and wants to add WBPP pro. His dealer said that they can do it but he will lose his depth finder. Is it an either/or deal?

I have the 22v which should be basically the same and have both... the depth finder is part of the speedometer on mine, the perfect pass is mounted down next to the stereo remote. The only thing that I can think of is that his dealer is going to remove the speedometer from its location and install the PP there. You dont really want them to do that in case you have to ever calibrate the PP, plus its nice to have 2 speedo's

Here is a pic of how mine is set up. It should look the same as the 22i

The dealer is incorrect, I have a 04 22i also. Looks the same as the one above.

The tige dealer in So Cal puts the stereo where the perfect pass and stereo remotes are in the pictures. This leaves removing a speedo or tach as the only option

TIGEJPL, That makes sense... although I would prefer the way mine is set up.

Doesn't PP have a depth finder built into it?

Thanks for the feedback. He went in and spoke with someone who actually knew something and now he's getting it the way he should.

Thanks

it has a speedo built in, I don't know about a depth gauge. The PP on my Bu doesn't have depth.

For sure it's on the pp wb-pro and digital-pro. For sure it's not on the pp-cruise (because there you don't get the dash gauge or at least not the one where you can read some values).

Go to www.perfectpass.comand have a look into the manuals.

greets
