I just got some lovely pictures from lcap of the new boat wich we will be picking up this weekend. First, huge thanks to lcap for the pictures. Can't wait to go riding this weekend. I'll post some more pictures this weekend of her in the water.

DRAGON88,

Hopefully the pictures will help over the next few days. I love the color combo, nice and simple. After seeing yours up close, I wish I would have opted for the docking lights. Something about them sets off the bow perfectly.

Nice choice on the Sampson mirror. Pacific now uses drop lettering on the registration numbers. They look nice.

Now its time to "get out on the water." Lets see some pics of her in the water.

Question: Where do the tower wires go? Down thru the center of the lower leg?

Nice looking boat Dragon.

A friend of mine down here has the same exact color. We get lots of looks in that thing, and you will too.

Have fun behind her!!

Thanks for the compliments everyone! I'm leaving in a few hours to
drive up "near" the dealership (6hr s away) spend the night and pick
the boat up tomorrow morning. Can't wait to test out my new board Kdub!

They are mounted on the front bar so that the install looks cleaner. The Titan speakers have no "exposed" wiring going from the tower to the speakers. The wires appear to run through either side of the front legs, if you look closely you can see the wiring loom. Might add another set of speakers some day, but for right now I think its adequate. My old boat had all of the speakers blown except for the tower speakers. So it's going to be nice to have something that sounds decent again.

I'll get some pics of her on the water tomorrow night or so. I can't wait to go riding, 6 months is too long of an off season...

Russian, according to Map Quest Glide is a little over 2 and a half hrs away from the lake where the boat is kept. If you want a pull or something I could probably hook you up. It'd be the integrity boat, well 2 integs. I need to quit being an Integra-whore and get an '05 Team, graphics are so clean on that deck!

Stupid bimini top is holding up the delivery, but we're going to get it Thursday no matter what, well except for if something happened to the boat while it was at the shop. Laughing

DRAGON88,

I drove by the shop today, she looks beautiful. Especially in the sunshine. Saw another team next to it with a Bimini on it and was gonna tell Rob he needs to hook you up. Then again they will take care of you.

Thursday will be a better day for you to trailer her home anyway--nothing but sunshine.

lcap, they got the bimini in today going to pick up the boat tomorrow morning. I don't know what happened with the bimini, I was thinking that they forgot to order one, but now I'm thinking that it was in fact the bimini people flaking out.

I'm going paparazzi on it its ass tomorrow. Laughing Laughing

Thanks again for all the help and compliments, it was much appreciated by my family and I.

DRAGON88,

That's another thing about Pacific. If they don't think CC's product is the best they have it made locally. Didn't like the mooring covers, bimini's, factory painted towers, factory heaters, etc. Sometimes their suppliers get backed up and it takes them more time to set the boat up, but in the end it's well worth it.

You'll be more than pleasently surprised when you pick her up tomorrow.

DRAGON88,

Looks spectacular. I love that clean look. Any towing issues with the Lex?

kavlock99, The Lexus was DEFINITELY not up to the task of towing the boat. It got about 9 mpg on the way back and was usually around 3.5k (rpms) when just moseying along and then when you passed someone it would literally redline it's self. I don't see how that thing can be rated for 5,000 lbs...

Anyways, here are some pictures 4 days and 16.2(hours on the boat) later.

In the lake:

Taking her 3 day rest.

Wake is absolutely delightful as is PP, bimini and Heater!

If that's an RX300, I think the max. trailer weight is 3500 lbs. It's essentially a FWD (or AWD) car, for god's sake! You got it home though so that's all that matters. Have you stopped grinning yet?

-=LoneStar=-, the grin is still glowing... Much like my skin right now, bright with the radiation from the sun. Damn sunburn. Laughing

Interesting about the Rx300, I was just going off of what the Lexus dealership that installed the hitch said. It definitely was not having the time of it's life. I'm actually really surprised the tranny didn't overheat, it towed it about 5 hrs home stopping for fuel 2ce. I feel kinda good about it, I absolutely hate that car with a passion. It has had more freak accident sh*t happen to it then just about any other car in the greater northwest region. 2 more weeks and the lease is up on it, I can't wait to be rid of that turdwagon. (It's my grandma's car, and I drive her around usually. That little V6 is very inadequate for a car of that size.)

We were backing the boat down our driveway into a parking spot and the boat was pulling the Lexus down the hill any time you attempted to brake... (It would skid about a 6 inches every time you tried to stop or turn.) Shocked Then again I think the boat was just telling the car who's boss. Laughing

hey Dragon - what is that thing called that attaches to the dock and holds the boat a couple feet away from it? Do you have a link to a website or something?

Thanks a lot.

Oh, and nice boat man...

Dees, hell yeah man, my boat would love some company of a ghetto smurf persuasion.

I named it Nikolai, before anyone jumps on me for naming a wakeboard let me say this: While I agree that boats don't need names unless they need identification at sea, I have decided that Nikolai sounds much better the "Sante" so Nikolai it is.

DRAGON88, is your dock in a 5mph zone, or is your entire lake that glassy?

Who made that cover? It looks quality.

Burky, the whole lake is like that up until about 10:00 where it turns into the last 2 pics or slightly worse. There's not really many boats on the lake, half of em are fishing boats, the other half are generally smart enough to only chop up one part of the lake with their tubing.

PM lcap about the cover, we probably have the same covers, I know that the dealership does them locally, but other then that I don't have a clue who makes it. It's awesome though, it has these Little "C" shaped claws on the edge of cover that grab on under the rub rail to hold the cover taunt. Coming from the shitty CC cover that never did its job on the last one the new one is a godsend!
