Take me riding this summer and I'll tell ya. Wink

There really aren't any lakes around to board on in the Portland area. In fact, the closest one that I can think of that is worth going to is Lake Billy Chinook just outside of Madras. That's a bit of a drive.

Billy Chinook is nice but you have to hit it early. the steep canyon walls cause it to get wavy really fast once the boat traffic picks up during the day.

Sean, Tyler, or any other upper-Willamette Valley riders-- I ride in the Willamette, usually between Newberg and Charboneau. I find it's pretty hard to beat the conditions there, but my biggest problem is finding people to go with. I'm interested in getting out evenings after work, and early weekend mornings. Let me know if you're interested in hooking up sometime, my boat or yours. -Mike
