|
|
I recently purchased a Monster Tower for my boat and wanted to get opinions on placement. I have 3 options I am looking at. The tower was mounted with velcro to see the best placement without drilling. The 1st location is forward more than the 2nd and 3rd. The difference in the other 2 is the back foot placement. I want to hear what people think of the differences. Thanks,
Lane

Go with the first one. Looks good! _________________ "You know what those things can do? Suck the paint off your house and give your family a permanent orange afro." |

hmm...I was thinking that the first one was too far forward and the last one looked the best. Maybe I need to rethink this, I still havn't drilled yet. Can I get more opinions? |

strength4guinness, the first one without a doubt.
The rear legs will be in your way when you want to get off the boat on to a dock. _________________

I like the first one the most. "In general" towers mount at the front and rear of the windshield frame althoughth there are no real rules that have to be followed. Also consider how each fold down and which one you like best from that perspective. _________________ Founder of Monster Tower Wakeboard Towers

Definitely like the first one.
And do consider where it folds down and what it's going to rest on when down...unless you plan on leaving it up all the time. _________________ So, I've got that goin' for me...which is nice! |

Between the 1st and 3rd I'd go with the first, it looks better and I think your tow point would be a couple inches higher because your rear legs are mounted different. _________________ "I know violence isn't the answer, I got it wrong on purpose." |

I would go with the first one but its your boat and you should go with the one that you like the most. _________________ "What counts is not necessarily the size of the the dog in the fight. Its the size of the fight in the dog." - Gen. George S. Patton |
